Instead of completely banishing something harmless and popular to one board, why not change rule 15 to address the real issue; people bitching about things they don't like and shitposting to make it go away.

It's not like ponies are the only thing that gets this treatment. Tripfags are constantly under attack by assdamaged anons, and the anons are even more disruptive than even the worst tripfags. There are plenty of other subjects on 4chan that receive similar treatment from a small subset of extremely loud and obnoxious users.

I'd like to propose that the ban on ponies outside of /mlp/ be removed, and rule 15 be rewritten to ban bitching/shitposting about threads/users/subjects people don't like. Ignoring threads and images you don't like should be the solution, not shitposting to the point where you get the thing you don't like is banned. I seem to recall that moot himself stated as such several times in the past.
