Explain how you can actually defend this show as a decently written show.

Hey /a/, so after you've been hitting on me for years, I've finally decided to go out with one of you.

But only on one condition: you must have a really beautiful name. Names mean a lot to me.

Anyone else really upset that the names are almost all traditional European (more specifically Anglo-Saxon with an occasional Spanish surname rarely) surnames?

Like I know the whites reading this have already dismissed this thread and thats fine because this thread isnt for you, it's for us. By having exlcusive white male and female names you normalize the idea that the 4chan user base is universally white and male which simply is not the case. I know some are already writing this off as bait but it really fucking burns me that despite the owner now being a nonwhite Asian 4chan seemingly still has to be bound to the rules laid down by the very white and very male moot

Any administration reading this right now, I want you to imagine how I feel after coming to this site for years, contributing my content, spending my time and then have my presence and participation ignored because I sinply don't fit with what you think the "ideal" 4chan user is. I really feel like you guys could have implemented this better. This isn't an abusrd or outrageous "tumblrina" demand, it is perfectly reasonable to want to see yourself in the community. Honestly, you can do better
